New York here we come!

That's right. We are planning a trip to New York for our first wedding anniversary. We have booked our flights and hotel (we will be staying in the financial district), thanks to my travel agent, Cary. While we still have a few months until we hit that one year mark and fly to the big apple, we are trying to plan well so we can maximize our three day vacation.
So, if anyone has some advice or suggestions for New York, please let us know. We need suggestions for restaurants, attractions, shows, stores, sights, and whatever else is a "can't miss" in the city that never sleeps!
Also, this is our 100th blog post....thought that was pretty cool!

  1. you must see a show!! you can buy tickets day of for pretty cheap!
and China town. shopping for fake bags was one of the biggest thrills of my life. haha....
also rode a free ferry [i think to brooklyn?] at night time and it went by the Statue of Liberty. Stunning! The ferry left near the financial district i think...

  2. Oh - and the Today show!! That was one of my favs too!!

  3. Thanks for the ideas...they all sound great!

  4. there are some pretty good soup kitchens on the lower east side if you're looking for a romantic dinner for 2-600.
